Hi, I'm an enthusiast of many things, born in Canada and raised in Alabama on the Gulf Coast. I've learned many skills which I enjoy sharing with the world in fun and creative ways that help myself and others to level up.

I have a wide technical background and training that began when I first learned TI-BASIC programming in the mid 1980s and continued with Shōtōkan Karate, US Space and Rocket Center "Space Camp", land navigation and recon, honor guard and drill, fabrication, electronics repair, software engineering, and cybersecurity, among other things.

My native language is English and I speak basic conversational Basque (Euskara Batua) which I picked up from the vibrant Basque community in Boise, Idaho where I have cherished friends on the Basque Block. (Ni Euskaldun berria naiz - Ipar Irlandekoan eta Newfoundlandekoan. Ni sukaldari Euskal eta nik Euskal muskia entzuten ari dut. Nik Euskal kultura eta hizkuntza maite dut!)

I write about topics such as project management and software development and I provide open-source MIT licensed example projects ranging from beat machines and synthesizers to embedded sensor platforms and full-stack clint-server and other application SDK framework development. My programming style is tab-indented highly-modular code with deep foundations in FP, OOP, and modern patterns such as asynchronous and reactive UX and services with event bus and publish-subscribe.
