In any time or age it can be difficult to search within and find meaning to life. Challenges come and go and people change, leaving us collecting bits and pieces of a life we had planned on living, and it becomes easy to question what the point is.

Finding your spiritual center and purpose is the ultimate cheat code in life.

Suddenly, every problem becomes an opportunity for solutions, every disconnect a chance for a better future, and every obstacle a building block for a life that we may otherwise only dream about.

In Japanese, 霊 is the character for spirit and 礼 is for gratitude and ceremonial ritual (such as bowing), with both having the pronunciation “rei” that is also related to higher energy properties such as reishi mushrooms and reiki healing work.

This shows a relationship between these concepts through sound, which can be seen as an original source as they are all bound by the same sound and general meaning.

In this way, we can see how the beginning and end of the spiritual center are one in the same. All anyone must do is to begin practicing gratitude and other habits that honor ourselves and others.

The spirit within ourselves is found in the present moment. Be open to experiences that connect with yourself and others, and search for the higher meaning where it sits — in your own heart and mind and how you perceive the external world, which from your point of view will always be a reflection of yourself in some way. This is how to stop the effects of time and create moments that are remembered for eternity.
