Good suggestion, and I have since transitioned to using github gists instead of screenshots for accessibility and to enable text copying, on my new articles.

The current configuration is set-up to scroll horizontally already, but if you’re interested in having it scroll vertically instead, simply change the dimensional calculations from the X axis to the Y axis. I apologize if that’s not what you’re asking for and if that’s the case, let me know and I can give some advice as to how you can modify this example to suit another case.
