No more than programming put mathematicians out of a job in the 60's. They are just scientific abstractions for processes, with different labels and names to match common popular applications. This is just evolution of math and science in a small snapshot. Development of low-code tools would just become the new hot job, the same as how popular frameworks come out all the time and being a "XYZ developer" makes you the hot commodity of the day. Business as usual in science and engineering.
